The new version brings some minor improvements. The downloading of software packages is for example no more than several processes but rather multiple threads. There is also a German localization as well as support for Network Manager in version 0.9. Communicate with the keyserver is being held on a properly authenticated HTTPS connection.

Zero Install Injector allows software installation and updating without root privileges. It depends, among other things for the Rox-desktop to use. Recently, the developer’s software known as an alternative to App Store. For more information or the LGPL source code and packages for Linux / Unix, Mac OS X and Windows is available.
