On November 28, Nokia held an event to introduce its new smartphone, the Nokia Lumia. As part of the promotion made a projection on Millbank Tower of London.
The problem is that precisely in that tower Canonical, creator of the distribution Linux Ubuntu, has an office floor.
Obviously not found anything appropriate that Nokia (now Microsoft partner) projected its logo on the seat of Canonical. Millbank Tower is a landmark building enough and most likely is that from the marketing department at Nokia no fall in the income that could be interpreted as a small provocation.
Nokia promotion was spectacular , with an animated projection which advertised the smartphone it should return part of the leadership lost the Finnish brand. You can imagine what they would think Canonical workers, advocates of free sotware, seeing projected on your windows mobile phone from Nokia. The projection underlines the operating system Windows Phone.
From Canonical prepared a small response, the media managed to improvise a few hours.
