New SkypeKit and Skype App Store

Belonging to the Microsoft VoIP provider Skype has released a new developer preview of his SkypeKit. The SkypeKit allows developers to create applications with integrated Skype functionality to Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.
The SkypeKit 4:02 for Desktop provides the ability to provide native applications to extend Skype’s functionality. Conceivable, in addition to instant messaging and telephony applications such as collaboration applications or games. Parallel to the SkypeKit exists also the Skype Desktop API (formerly only Skype API), with the previous Skype client can be extended with new functions.
