OpenOctaveMidi v2011

by admin ·

A first stable version of MIDI-sequencer and DAW (digital audio workstation) called OpenOctaveMidi. The project is based on the code and realizes functions MusE2 that are critical to write complex orchestrations with large sample libraries such as Vienna Symphonic Library. In particular, it realized the possibility of effectively not just dozens, but hundreds of audio tracks.

The reason for the creation of a new application was necessary specificity to the founders of the project features, the authors of existing projects deemed redundant. On this and many other things can be learned from an interview with the founders of the project Sherettom Christopher and Alex Stone.
