Plasma Active 3 will get a completely new file browser based on Nepomuk and QML.
The developer Marco Martin introduced the new file browser as a central element of Plasma Active 3 in front of his blog. The File Browser relies largely on the Nepomuk framework and therefore does not like ordinary file manager.
