Wine 1.5.28

Campaign for porting the game engine Torque 2D MIT for Android and Linux

Nvidia introduces Android Console “Project Shield”

Kickstarter, games and Linux – 16

Amarok is 10

October seems to be a good month for multimedia projects to be. Besides XMBC Amarok also celebrates its 10th Birthday.

Under the motto “Roktober 2012« the Amarok team celebrates his 10th in October Birthday. Amarok is one of the flagship projects under Linux. It is created based on the Qt framework and stands for linuxoide operating systems and, since 2009, for Micrososft Windows. Since Amarok followed the development of KDE 4, two projects have split, having retained the user interface of Amarok in KDE 3. It is the Pana audio player and Clementine . The development of Pana has now been incorporated into Clementine.

List of Linux games for steam

As is known, this month will begin closed beta testing of the Steam client for Linux, in which 1000 people will be able to take part. The main limitation of the test version is that you can only play in one game, the title of which unless remains under a veil of secrecy.
