Gnome 3.8 with plans to ownCloud

After the release of Gnome 3.6 a few days ago, the project takes on the work on the development versions 3.7.x of the next stable version 3.8.

As Gnome developer Matthias Clasen on the developers list announced , the first version of the new series has already appeared. The snapshots are in the download section to find under each Core and Apps in the branch / 3.7/3.7.1 /.


In a blog entry takes Clasen, what innovations have in the first developer version already entered, for example, the connection of ownCloud on Gnome online accounts. On the still developing wishlist for Gnome 3.7 will also continue as the GUI overhaul of the video player Totem or automatic updates for shell extensions.
