Broadcom open source drivers GPU VideoCore

The company Broadcom, producing single-chip computer systems (System-On-Chip, SoC), widely used in consumer electronics, has opened the source code of the driver graphics VideoCore. A role in the open source success played a single-board computer Raspberry Pi, built on the BCM2835 chip production Broadcom, graphics driver which remained up to now the only one of the software project, comes in the form of binary object (BLOB). 


Driver source code under open source license lined (3-Clause BSD, BSD-license of three points) and are available for download on GitHub.
