by admin ·

The Blender Foundation and involved in the project developer community has released a free 3D rendering software Blender in version 2.64. The current Blender version contains mainly changes, which were needed for the fourth Open Movie Project Mango.

The developers reach their own target and resulted in Blender 2.64 a complete VFX pipeline. But they improved the motion detection by they used a planar tracker and pieced the existing tracker to a precisely controllable hybrid tracker. It is possible to track movements, in which the camera is rotated only, without changing their position (tripod-Solving).

Blender 2.64 OpenColorIO has been integrated and the color management system so revised that more color spaces are supported. Greenscreen keying, the crop of recorded against green background scenes is easier to apply. Exempted scenes can also be input before then other backgrounds.

A new text editor allows the image or movie editor to create masks. The masked image can be subsequently modified or protected against changes. The developers implemented a new backend for compositing node that consumes less memory and is faster Rückmeldungungen.

Cycles of the renderer has been improved in many details. The sculptures now known masking tool, and users can control brush strokes and textures detail. The game engine can better highlight and shadow control and compressed textures will load faster. There is also a new type of physics for characters that are controlled by players. Other innovations may in the publication notice be found.

Blender is under GPL. The rendering software is available for Linux, Mac OS X and MS Windows. The current version is 2.64 on the project sites todownload offered.
