Cinnamon 1.6 with its own File Manager

Cinnamon, an alternative desktop environment based on GNOME is available in version 1.6.

The new release includes the first file manager Nemo, the Gnomes Nautilus replaced. The user can also enter its self-defined workspaces names. A new applet called Window Quick List all windows of all workspaces gives an overview. In addition, can now configure the switch between the windows, that works with the call by pressing [Alt] + [Tab]. On request, he shows them icons, thumbnails, previews, or a combination.

Cinnamon is under GPLv2, the current source code is on github to have. First binary packages there for openSUSE.
