Who writes a Python game in a week?

The Python Game Programming Challenge is challenging the participants of the Week 9 to 16 September 2012, a complete game. Registration begins in the next few days.

Participation is possible for both individual and for teams. A week before the start of a topic is specified, the programmers put in Python. They must not use any existing code, but have the game “from scratch” writing. The use of libraries, however, is permitted in addition may involve the participants existing graphics and music.


Winners of Games competition in May 2012: Doctor Atomic Korovic’s Flying Squid.

The organizers suggest players to publish their software under a free license, as to the goals of the contest is to increase the publicly available games as well as resources for their programming.
