Scientific Linux 3.6 RPM binds to a fusion

The Scientific Linux distribution Red Hat-based is available in version 6.3.

At the request of users, the developers have incorporated the RPM Fusion repository. It contains among other things, distribute video and audio codecs, the distributors for licensing concerns themselves. Even the makers of Scientific Linux delegate this judgment to the user. In addition, there is an update of the network file system to OpenAFS version 1.6.1-112.sl6. The yum configuration was given a new GPG key list, which now also contains the key of the research center CERN, where the distribution of major developed and used. More details are in the Release Notes .


Scientific Linux 6.3 for i386 and x86_64 is available for download available. Also, the source RPMs, compared to Red Hat Enterprise Linux added or modified software are available.
