Arch Linux 2012.08.04

Updated installation image distribution Arch Linux . As promised in the previous release, now the image of Arch Linux will be updated monthly.

The image contains the following changes:

  • GRUB 2.0 (instead of 0.9).
  • Installation Guide located in the / root / install.txt.
  • As the shell is used ZSH configuration of grml . It includes convenient tools for working with pacstrap, arch-chroot, pacman, and more.
  • When you load the network will automatically be configured and if available DHCP.



It should be noted that all these changes affect only the installation image, instead of the target system that you install.
