Suricata 1.3 with SSL and MD5 check

The Intrusion Detection System Version 1.3 with Suricata brings some improvements. Among other things, it checks for anomalies SSL connections.
In their just released version 1.3 brings the security-conscious administrators IDS Suricata some improvements. It now includes a TLS / SSL handshake parser, with which it can monitor the connection setup of encrypted connections. In addition, it checks for suspicious patterns SSL connections. To identify specific files for file transfers, Suricata made during the transfer of MD5 checksums now. To facilitate the transition from the Snort IDS, Suricata can read its configuration files directly.
