Raspberry Pi + = Debian Raspbian

An ARM port of Debian Linux distribution is now recommended by your operating system for the single-board computer Raspberry Pi

This is an unofficial port of Debian release Wheezy on the ARMv6 architecture. Here comes the hard float ABI (HF) is used, the calculation with floating point numbers to the hardware FPU transfers and thus increases performance. This is expressed, according to Raspberry Pi blog among others at a faster browser out. There are benchmark results for the architecture, “armel” and “armhf” on the Raspberry.
