Phoronix Test Suite 4.0 is available

This has to report about Linux hardware company specializing Phoronix Media released its own test suite in version 4.0.

The new release, code-named Suldal offers over 200 individual tests and 60 test suites. It brings better monitoring of performance per watt, improved hardware detection, detailed reports and extensive documentation. The developers continue to work on the automation of test and reinforce the connection to OpenBenchmarking.org, a community website with test results, which also is operated by Phoronix Media.


The test suite provides the most feature-rich Linux, can be run as well on BSD, Solaris, Mac OS X and Windows. For more information or GPLv3-licensed software as Debian-/Ubuntu-Paket, are generic Linux binary or tarball it on thehome page of the test suite .
