A new email client Geary 0.1

After years of development Yorba Foundation , supporting the development of Shotwell , introduced the first lightweight email client release Geary.

Geary is written using libraries GTK3 + and is focused on Gnome.

The aim of the project – the creation of low resource, easy to use, but functional email client.

Presented release is not intended for industrial use – this is the first public release.

Geary can already:

  • basic support for viewing HTML mail and drafting;
  • send and receive mail;
  • meet the mailing and send mail;
  • spell checking as an option;
  • keyboard shortcuts;
  • organize a letter to the tops.
