Release MATE 1.2 environment

Presented by the next release of the desktop MATE 1.2 – The GNOME 2 fork that provides an intuitive and attractive desktop.

Here are the main changes and improvements in this version:

  • Numerous bug fixes;
  • All configuration files have been moved to ~ / .config / mate;
  • in the file manager is added Caja undo changes (undo / redo);
  • in the management daemon adds support for PulseAudio backends and GStreamer;
  • new applications: mozo (fork alacarte), python-caja, caja-gksu, caja-image-converter;
  • appearance:

    • topic MATE have been renamed to avoid conflicts with GNOME;
    • added new wallpapers not dull;
    • MATE is now in its logo.
