Xonotic 0.6

There was a new release of the increasingly popular 3D-shooter Xonotic 0.6, dated to the second birthday of the project. Since the previous release was six months, and that’s what game developers are now our attention:
- The long-awaited implementation of ClientSide QuakeC for games on the network, which means that the transfer process of animation, the level of detail models and other graphical niceties to the client during multiplayer battles. Thus, without loss of quality FPS and there was an increase in overall performance when playing over the network.For developers, this feature greatly facilitated the process of working on future versions and test code.
- Opening of the online database of statistics (part of the player chooses).
- Sketching shadows and reflections by sRGB, is now simply the dark corners of the maps are not as dark and light in some areas is not as dazzling as before.
- 4 new maps (Lightspeed, Solarium, Drain, Darkzone).
- The updated model of arms Laser and Minstanex.
- A new type of game entertainment - Sandbox (not yet finalized by the end, we expect improvements in future versions).
- Redesigned game menus, the addition of translations into Ukrainian and Greek, as well as refinement of the Spanish, French, German and Hungarian translations.
