IBM released the EGL Development Tools

IBM has announced the release under an open source license toolkit for language development EGL. EGL (English Enterprise Generation Language) – developed by IBM modern high-level programming language for creating business applications. EGL program to be compiled in COBOL, Java or JavaScript.


The purpose of technology EGL — provide an abstraction layer over a variety of languages, frameworks and runtime environments.
