GNOME put into operation directory additions to GNOME Shell

The GNOME Project has announced the start of testing a new resource extensions.gnome.org , which is working to create the directory additions to the shell GNOME Shell. Using the add-on in the catalog, users can modify and supplement the basic user environment GNOME 3.

Installing the additions made directly from the site in one click, but it requires a special plug for the web-browser. Extensions are designed in JavaScript using the CSS-styles, that solves the problem of portability between different platforms.
