UML tool is free software Modelio

The previously proprietary UML designer Modelio is now available under GPLv3.

The manufacturer also has one Modeliosoft SF site set up for interested developers. The Eclipse-based GUI application controls UML 2 and business language BPMN 2, with additional modules, TOGAF, SoaML and SysML. The manufacturer points out that the open-source software offers Modelio features that are usually fee-based Enterprise editions often reserved: Support for multiple projects and a repository that stores components for reuse.
