The new version of web browser Firefox – 7.

Major changes in this version:

  • Optimizing the use of memory, a new garbage collector for JavaScript. With these changes, the browser will use less memory, increase speed and start loading pages.
  • Improve the synchronization of Firefox Sync – now added or modified your bookmarks and saved passwords will be updated soon.
  • Support for CSS property “overflow: ellipsis”, which allows the browser to add an ellipsis (…) a circumcision not fit into the text area.


  • Telemetry – addition, the browser allows you to profile the user is sending data to mozilla.org for future product development.
  • Support Web Timing - API for measuring the response time when loading pages and reaction to the user.
