Install a 32 – or 64-bit Linux on 64-bit machines

Most of today’s PC processors sold are 64-and Bittig Either a 32 – or run a 64-bit operating system. This poses the question, take a 32 – or 64-bit Linux? 64 bit does not automatically mean more speed, as well as the program code is slightly larger. Usually, though, a 64-bit system is not slower than a 32-bit system. The main advantage but rather that you can access it without any power loss to a lot of RAM. The disadvantage is, however, that some applications that exist only as 32-bit binary code, are more difficult to install.


How do you keep it in new installations? 32 bit or 64 bit? Please feel free to explain your answer in the comments.
