Xorg-server running on top of Wayland
by admin ·
In the maiden project was known as “hosted”.
Among the new:
- Changes relocated from the master branch of Xorg.
- Updates related to change in Wayland.
- Rewrote the code entry system, he now uses a driver to xf86.
- Improvements in stability, fixes leaks and memory corruption.
The actual source code for freedesktop.org: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/ iksaif ~ / xserver /? H = xwayland
It can be put together (instructions on the link “more”) and it should work.
PS The integration comes from both sides. Those interested in the status of the Wayland-support clients in KWin, running on top of Xorg: screen shot. Here shows the Wayland-client running in KWin (kwin-wayland branch repository kdebase / kde-workspace), wrapped in the scenery from the windows KWin. It works I support.
