Tine 2.0 2011-05 open to third-party software

The web-based open-source Groupware Tine 2.0 is available in the 2011-05 version with new features.
For the first time it is possible to integrate third-party software into the system. You can for example arise as a new tab in the UI. The strict client-server architecture and standard web technologies like Javascript, HTML and CSS made this possible, the developers state could be next, but also expand the server.
The users will benefit from a noticeable performance improvement. Advanced users can use the Sieve mail filtering now also configure using regular expressions. In admin page, there is a revised Administrative Tools folder, which should make some use of command-line tools obsolete.
The Web-Groupware Tine 2.0 solldie users in the new release 2011-05 enjoy better performance.
Tine 2.0 includes mail, address book, calendar, task management, time tracking and CRM. The PHP software is licensed under AGPL. An impression of the new version, code-named “Maischa” gives the public demo installation , however, is missing in the mail component.
The new release is available as a tarball for download ready, but recently, the project provides a repository with Debian and Ubuntu packages.
