The OpenThinClient GmbH has released their thin client distribution, including the free management tools in version 1.0.0.
The Ubuntu-based operating system has received numerous updates for the latest Atom processors and Nvidia to support ion platform. Updated software is including in the form of Citrix Receiver 11, Firefox 3.6, Thunderbird 3.1 and OpenOffice 3.2. While the boat is from the network via PXE standard, it is now also the option, regardless of the server to boot from local media.
OpenThinClient 1.0.0 supports the use of smart cards, for example, the insurance cards and health insurance Datev cards. On the remote RDP and ICA are numerous software packages such as Siemens and Medico-Datev work with the cards.
