ROSA Desktop 2010.2

Company ROSA Lab. announces its first release distribution – ROSA Desktop 2010.2.

ROSA Desktop is a new platform for Russian organizations of desktop and mobile workstations for commercial, educational and government institutions.

Final assembly is based on packet-based Mandriva 2010.2, and includes a number of changes and improvements relating to the architectural side, correcting errors identified in the beta and refine the graphical user interface.


In developing the architecture has been updated and changed the batch database image distribution, the system includes tools for recording an image on a flash drive. Changes in the process of assembly of the image, such as support for lzma-compressed image and others. Added additional package repositories to be connected during installation. This gives the user more freedom in the choice of applications.
