GnuCash 2.4.0

Released new stable version of financial accounting Gnucash designed for individuals and small businesses. Gnucash is part of the GNU project and is available for Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris, Mac OS X and Windows.

Features:

  • hierarchical system of accounts;
  • breakdown of a single transaction into several parts;
  • Import accounts from the Internet (in the format of SWIFT MT940);
  • edit set records;
  • standard double entry bookkeeping and accounting;
  • Transactions on the Web;
  • records of credit payments;
  • building reports and graphs;
  • support accounting for small businesses;
  • import data files from other financial systems, OFX, QIF;
  • follow most of the recommendations GNOME HIG 2.0;
    etc.

Major changes (compared to the previous stable version 2.2.9):

  • transition from the engine GtkHTML on WebKit;
  • Support multi-user interface database SQLite3, MySQL, PostgreSQL (in development);
  • eguile -reports (processing a report template, followed by converting it to code HTML);
  • automatic refill, dated;
  • Sfix some bugs.
